Agarsen ki Baoli
Designated as protected monument by Archeological Survey of India (ASI), Agarsen ki Baol in Connaught Place is a 60 meter long and 15 meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road near Connaught Place. It is believed that this Baoli was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen during the Mahabharat epic era. Baoli is a Hindi word and it means a stepwell. Agarsen ki Baoli is being made to provide constant water supply to the city and a resting place for the travellers. Agarsen ki Baoli is also a water reservoir that is known for its heritage value.

Central Park
Central Park is situated above Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. The whole Connaught place market is layered around this Central Park. After its re-development in 2005-06 by DMRC, Central Park in Connaught Place has become one of the main attractions of the city with citizens and tourists can be seen in large numbers. Very well-known in Delhi, Central Park has been a centre for cultural events since a very long time. Inside the Central Park, we can see soft lights all around, water flowing and in fountains and people with families roaming around. The atmosphere in and around Central Park is very pleasing.

Hanuman Mandir
Located at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place, Hanuman Temple is one of the oldest Hanuman Temple in the Country. Built in 1724, this ancient temple is very popular among the devotees of Lord Hanuman. Lot of people visiting this Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place might not be aware that the 24-hour chanting of the mantra ‘Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’, since August 1, 1964, claimed to have earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Tuesdays and Saturdays are associated with Bhagwan Hanuman and devotes come here in large number for worship. Hanuman Jayanti (birthday celebrations of lord Hanuman) is also held every year with great fanfare.

Jantar Mantar
Jantar Mantar in Connaugth Place, New Delhi was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the ruler & founder of Jaipur, in India. This ancient monument (built in 1724) is one of the five astronomical observatories build by Maharaja Jai Singh II as he was given by Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah the task of revising the calendar and astronomical tables. This great masterpiece of Indian architecture is located at Parliament Street, Connaught Place. Jantar Mantar in Connaught Place is maintained by the Jaipur government because it was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur in 1710 A.D.

State Emporia
A minute and a half from Connaught Place is Baba Khaak Singh Marg – a road whose claim to fame is the number of state-emporia that line it. The ‘emporia’ are state government-run boutiques – one for each state of India – selling the traditional offerings of the state.
